Sinopsis

The New York Mets still remain the only team in baseball to not have lost three games in row this season, getting even in the Subway Series by defeating the New York Yankees 3-2. It wasn't a much better day for the Mets on the offensive side of things, but they did just enough to win the ballgame. It was a 9th inning started by the bottom of the lineup to set up Francisco Lindor for a go-ahead sacrifice fly. From a pitching perspective, the Mets got more solid work from Griffin Canning and their bullpen continued to do what they do best. Huascar Brazoban, Reed Garrett and Edwin Diaz combined to throw 3.2 scoreless innings out of the pen. Tomorrow, it's the rubber match between these two. It will be David Peterson going for the Mets against Max Fried for the Yankees. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Amazon Fire TV Stick 4kDid you know your Fire TV is also an Xbox?
