It was a pair of one-run losses for the New York Mets, and their second straight series loss. First up, it was the MLB debut for Blade Tidwell. Command struggles and some well placed Cardinals hits doomed Tidwell in the 6-5 loss. The nightcap was Tylor Megill's chance to turn things around for the Mets, and he struggled as the calendar turned to May.
