The New York Mets were able to rally in the 8th, but the bullpen wasn't able to hold a one-run lead and they fell to the Washington Nationals, 5-4. It was a quiet night for the Mets bats early in this one, as they were unable to solve Jake Irvin over his 7 plus innings.
