Brandon Nimmo tied a New York Mets franchise record with a 9-RBI day, as the Mets salvaged a series split, defeating the Washington Nationals 19-5. It was about as perfect as response as you could get from the Mets, who didn't allow their Sunday troubles to carry over into Monday.
