Focus areas include equal play, such as traditional Title IX compliance in athletic departments, sexual harassment, abuse and assault, as well as employment, pregnancy and LGBT discrimination within sport.Hogshead-Makar is leading an effort turn the Olympic Movement back into a service-oriented, athlete-centric non-profit, one who’s corporate structure protects athletes from physical, emotional, financial and sexual abuse.
