It was a cold, cold night at Citi Field but the New York Mets bats were able to do just enough to get by the Miami Marlins in the opener of this three-game series. A pair of RBI hits from Juan Soto and Tyrone Taylor provided all the offense the Mets needed, as the Amazin's pitching was once again the story. Kodai Senga provided 5 scoreless innings in his first home start of the year, and it was the Mets bullpen doing what they've done best.
