That's what our shuttle driver called it. We're in Boston this week for the New England Restaurant and Bar Show along with many chefs, restaurateurs, and friends from front and back of house and personalities from the foodservice and beverage world. I hopped on the Culinary Stage with Chef Andy Teixeira of Newport Vineyards in Rhode Island and chatted on the show floor with an industry leader. Before that, I caught up with longtime friend Dante Bellini, a filmmaker from Rhode Island who just completed a documentary on the Malassadas - a delicious pastry best described as Fair fried dough's Mediterranean cousin - Portuguese to be precise.
