A sermon, speech or discussion about the world and how we can make it better. 17 year ago I attempted to start a new organization at 27 years old I had worked for a few non-profits and was idealistic still a little naive. Not only was I put through the ringer having worked for a refugee agency assisting HT victims but I had been an organizer for a union, a case manager at a detention center for immigrants but worked as a legal assistant at an immigration law firm. After all these experiences I was ready to take on the world by creating a ministry or non-profit that kept the vision of MLK alive. It’s name was A More Excellent Way a phrase used by him quoting the writings of the apostle Paul. 1 Corinthians 12:31 "Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way." Reverend Doctor King is pointing to the Way of Love described by Paul as "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant..." co
