Sinopsis
In what was clearly the wildest game so far of the year, the New York Mets rallied late and then were able to hold on in extra innings to win their first series of the year, defeating the Marlins 6-5 in 11 innings. It was a better start from Clay Holmes, but some defensive miscues forced him out of the game after 4.2 IP for the second straight start. The bats were quiet for most of the game, until Pete Alonso hit a game-tying three run home-run in the 8th inning. After they scored two runs in the 11th, Danny Young and Huascar Brazoban combined to get the final three outs. Next up is an off day before the first home series of the year against the Blue Jays.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Wonderful PistachiosLooking for a snack that’s both delicious and nutritious?
