Sinopsis
Everton extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League under David Moyes to seven matches with a spirited comeback to draw 1-1 against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium but could have emerged from this contest with even more had Beto not spurned a hat-trick of golden opportunities. The Blues spent most of the first half defending but still carved out the best two chances before Youane Wissa capitalised on a defensive lapse from the visitors following a throw-in during stoppage time. Everton kept battling though and were rewarded with Jake O’Brien heading in his first goal for the club on 77 minutes and with the visitors finishing the stronger of the two sides, their one point might have been more had Beto not been denied again.
