The Hijacking of Christianity – Who are the True Soldiers of the Faith? The book of Acts Chapter 11 vs. 26 reveals that the apostles of the Lord Jesus were first called Christians in the city of Antioch. This glorious title set them apart from the entire world. It was a sign to all they would meet and teach – a sign that said “We are the true followers of Jesus the Christ and ambassadors of his doctrine”. As true soldiers of the Faith, the apostles were ready and capable teachers, but even more, they were living breathing testimonies of the faith of Jesus. Prior to his death the apostle Paul gave dire warnings that the time was upon them when malicious and evil men – filled with the spirit of Satan would invade and attempt to overthrow the Church of Christ. By observing the so-called Christian practices of today it is evident that the forces of Evil have all but succeeded. Today our Lord Jesus Christ is represented by men and women who stand in opposition of all that he taught and stood for. They are covetous
