Sixteen year old Michael Taylor has made headlines once again.  On December 7, 2011,  the sounds of tough love were replaced with those of gun fire.  Another mother sits in grief, another black teen has been murdered and people are still questioning the effectiveness of corporal punishment or what we know as “butt whoopings”.  This is a follow up of a show that aired almost a year to the day, regarding an uncle disciplining his nephew for presenting himself as a gang affiliate and glorifying the “gang lifestyle” on Facebook.  It begs the question.  Michael’s murder sparks many questions.  Do butt whoopings work?  How realistic are biblical teaching in this day and age? How effective are other alternatives, funding and programs in helping to “reaching back” and deter our young teens from violence?  Join us as we search the scriptures for answers to these questions and more.
