Six states and the District of Columbia have legalized same-sex marriage.  Now the Presbyterian Church and other denominations are experiencing rifts in deciding how to respond to the same-sex marriage question in their congregations.  They fear allowing same-sex marriage will cause a mass exodus of members.  But at the same time, view the legalization of same-sex marriage in several states as a forecast of an inevitable future where they have no choice but to allow the practice.  But is there really no choice?  Are there options or maybe one single option they are not considering?  After all, aren’t they supposed to be obedient to the teachings of Jesus Christ?  So then isn’t the real question, what has Christ instructed the Church to do?  We invite you to sit in the Virtual Living Room, as we discuss what Christ would have the Church to do concerning same-sex marriage.
