“There Are No Innocent Black People” is the shocking title to a blog article written by Greg Howard on The Concourse.  In the article Hardy details the account of a black South Carolina High School student that was brutally arrested by a white School Resource Officer.  Hardy points to a lingering perception of black people as being inherently criminal. Agree with Hardy or not, one would be hard pressed to find anyone in support of the Officer’s actions including his boss.  His boss, Sheriff Leon Lott, fired him just days after the incident.  So it seems to be fairly clear that the Officer Ben Fields was wrong.  However, little to no criticism has surfaced regarding the actions of the High School girl whose ill behavior in the classroom was the catalyst for the entire event.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTWgJMVCy-g .
