Dr. Hervé Damas, MD, MBA, is a former professional athlete, strength and conditioning coach, fitness professional and wellness director who received allopathic training in general surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and Diagnostic Radiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Damas strongly believes in a multi-faceted approach to attaining overall wellness. After an injury shortened his career with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League, Dr. Damas returned to his roots of health and fitness before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. Eventually, he founded Grassroots Medicine and Wellness, a cannabis centered wellness center in Miami. Dr. Damas is dedicated to advancing the public’s understanding of the medicinal benefits of cannabis. He is on the board of directors for Athletes for Care and the Association of Cannabis Specialists.
