Growing up in the Midwest, and being the 9th of 10 children - This next guest was mentally and physically trained to keep up with the “boys” - Also, known as, her big brothers at a very young age. If this tiny tyke wanted to play football in the backyard with all of the others, she had to prove her endurance one grunt, and hut hut hike at a time! This training set her up to be a leader throughout the rest of her life. From excelling at Ernst + Young, to changing the way business thrived at Disney, and later re-shaping and saving the Educational foundation as CFO at a non-profit. Kathleen Ruiz’s mantra to get her to success in any environment is simply that she has the COURAGE to make tough decisions. From the work place, to the workout - This mentally and physically fit woman shares the secret to smiling through the tough times and that sometimes the most important trait to hold is to just have that never ending Commitment to Excellence!
