Locked On Heat

The Heat scored the 1st 7 points of the game, then went ice cold for the rest of the night, as the Boston Celtics ran them out of the TR North Garden, 108-89. The Celtics held Miami to just 20 points in the 2nd quarter and 18 points in the 3rd, taking a double-digit lead in the 2nd quarter and going up by 20 points in the 3rd. Jaime Jaquez Jr had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the way for Miami, on a night when the Celtics harassed Tyler Herro into 36% shooting. Tyler was just 2 for 10 from 3-point range. Duncan Robinson went 0-6 from 3 for the Heat, as they shot just 23% from beyond the arc. Superstars Jaylen Brown (29 pts) and Jayson Tatum (18 pts, 11 reb) for the Celtics.  Payton Pritchard added 25 off the bench, and Derrick White added 19 points for the defending NBA champions, who have won 8 of 9 games, and still haven’t lost back-to-back games this season.  Both teams were without key players for the second night of a back-to-back. Jimmy Butler was out again for Miami.
