As we saw at the end of the last episode, Tamara somehow has the nerve to show her face back in Capeside AFTER EVERYTHING. Officially it's to sell her house and also a warehouse (???), the latter possibly to Mitch for his fake restaurant, which is why Dawson is the first credits-cast Capeside High student to see her. Laura continues her mentorship of Joey through an art lecture and then a drawing class, strongly encouraging Joey to consider pursuing art study more seriously.
