While most people agree that there is a fentanyl crisis in California, just how to deal with it it remains a quandary, which is one reason why several state legislature bills trying to tackle the problem have stalled. In the meantime, Governor Gavin Newsom has called in the California Highway Patrol and the National Guard to help officials in San Francisco.
