This began as a medium to share my mixes with friends across the U.S. where I have previously lived. I'd typically show up with a mix CD in N.C., Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, but I moved to NYC! Podcasting was an abysmal failing medium created by Apple that was in danger of disappearing due to low usage, so I was using it when nobody cared. My friends subscribed, then eventually thousands of people worldwide. I was taking a risk by uploading remixed music marketed to dance club DJ's with residencies in clubs around the country.
