Pastor Mike just began a series on HEROES in the Bible, emphasizing they are "Just Like Us." Really? Who believes "I am the same as Moses, David, Ruth, or Paul?" The first hero we heard about was Moses. As Pastor Mike was talking about Moses' power encounter with God in the burning bush (Exodus 3), he pointed out that God introduced Himself as "I Am that I Am." To which Pastor Mike asked all of us, "Are you ever nervous that God is the same God?" Most of us would respond, "I haven't seen the fire yet!" Is that your story?
