About This Episode: Desmond Clark has become one of the most decorated tight ends in Chicago Bears history. He joined the Monsters of the Midway in 2003, and quickly moved up the Bears’ record books. He ended his career ranked second All-Time in Bears history in receptions and touchdowns and third in receiving yards. During the Bears’ 2009 season opener Clark was injured leaving him inactive for five games. Still he returned and played a key role down the stretch, scoring a touchdown in the Bears exciting upset win over the NFC North Champion Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. In 2008, Desmond started all 16 games at tight end for the fourth consecutive season for the Bears. Desmond and fellow tight end Greg Olsen combined for over 90 receptions and 925 yards, which ranked 3rd in the NFC. In 2007, Clark led all NFC tight ends in yards per catch (12.4 avg) and was fifth in receiving yards.
