About This Episode: Born and raised in East Tawas Michigan, Donovan Darnell was a talented athlete with an affinity for hockey. The discipline he brought to sports also carried over into another passion...music. When he was just 16 years old, Donovan knew that music was his path and moved to New York City. Playing piano and writing songs from a very young age, he found himself fortunate to work with some incredible talent in the music industry. Completing high school at the age of seventeen, Donovan released an EP along with accompanying music videos of his original music by the time he was eighteen years old.
