I welcomed back my friends, Maj and Jan, to discuss their latest venture, MS MicroCap Cliffnotes and their Tier One Quality MicroCap Index. As some of you may know, we run an index as well called the Planet MicroCap Index that we use for educational purposes only to better understand how the general MicroCap market is performing with specific rules that allow for smaller, relatively illiquid names, growthy/pre-revenue/unprofitable names to be included. Maj and Jan launched an index, where, as it states on the MS Cliffnotes website, "the qualification of a stock to be added to the index is determined by quality, valuation, price momentum indicators, multi-bagger potential, qualitative analysis and market cap," and, "the rebalancing of the MSM index occurs on an active basis, not just quarterly or monthly."
