With more than 400,000 American kids in foster care, Hollywood is giving much-needed attention to the issue. The A&E channel is airing a documentary series that features a Los Angeles non-profit, Kidsave. Joining us on this podcast is Kidsave CEO Randi Thompson and Jessica and Mauricio Mora who opened up their home to a teen in foster care, Ty Bailey. The documentary series is called "The Day I Picked My Parents."
