Sinopsis

For the last several years Heather Bolint has led a nomadic lifestyle, initially inspired by her decision to quit her job and thru-hike the Appalachian Trail as a solo female. You might have heard about her hiker fame of rescuing an abandoned rooster on the AT and hiking with him for 42 miles, earning the trail name "mama cluck". Since then, Heather has also thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, Florida's Ocean to Lake Trail, paddled the 99-mile Everglades Wilderness Waterway, and hiked 1,100 miles around the coastline of Florida while collecting 3 tons of plastic from the beaches.Heather's most recent adventure of paddling nearly 400 miles of the Intracoastal Waterway was inspired by an idea she had when her parents moved south from her home state of Maine. After her father's death in 2022, she decided to fulfill her dream in remembrance of her father, and discover the healing properties of adventuring in nature.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/heather.bolintInstagram: @forthechickensLear
