Baxie welcomes back Jim Skafish! In 1983, Jim’s band, Skafish, presented their second album, “The Conversation” to IRS Records president Miles Copeland. Just two years after promoting Skafish as a groundbreaking genius, IRS rejected 8 of the 11 songs on the record for being too controversial. For the last 40 years Jim Skafish has fought to regain the rights to his own music which had been largely out of print and unavailable since 1985. Jim has not only released his self-titled debut album from 1979, he has just released the entire second album–including all 8 of the songs that were rejected–which can now be heard for the very first time in the reissued entitled “The Conversation & The Rejects”.
