I wrote "Search and Seizure" to teach the lesson of not allowing your illness or problems to define you. I certainly must be more in tune with my brain and body to monitor myself even as an adult. Although I have not had a seizure in over 28 years, as an educator, I know how important it is to communicate with myself.
