20th Century Boy

WHAT THE HELL IS A LION KING?

Informações:

Sinopsis

Sometime between 1599 and 1602, the great playwright, William Shakespeare, penned Hamlet, a tragedy that is still being taught in English classes today. Just under 400 years later, Disney released The Lion King, an animated classic that simultaneously 'borrowed' from both Shakespeare and a Japanese anime called Kimba the White Lion. Despite this, The Lion King went on to become one of the most recognisable animated films of all time - eventually being adapted into a broadway musical, and, in 2019, a 'live-action' remake. Mike discusses the good and bad of The Lion King remake, as well as exposing one of the world's most popular artists in a brand new Rhyme Crime. Intern Mike finally submits his Shield Assignment for History class, and Editor Mike may have a new lady friend. Radio Zac calls in to have a guess at the $6,000,000,000 Secret Sound giveaway, and Harry Potter & The Boys continues. -----------------------------------------
