Pharmac has announced they will be funding two new lung cancer treatments from April 1st. Keytruda and Tecentrig are commonly used to treat people with locally advanced and metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who fit the criteria. The Cancer Society approves this funding decision, as lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in New Zealand.
