Sinopsis

Lisa Ferentz is back on the podcast, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Lisa is the quintessential therapist, in my mind: she’s passionate, compassionate, super insightful, and a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of trauma with over 33 years in the field. In 2009 she was voted the “Social Worker of Year” by the Maryland Society for Clinical Social Work. You’ll recall that Lisa initially joined me on episode 54 (http://www.thetraumatherapistproject.com/podcast/lisa-ferentz-lcsw-c-dapa/) of the podcast, and then graced my membership site, Trauma Therapist | 2.0 (http://www.thetraumatherapistproject.com/video/lisa-ferentz/), with an amazing video interview on self-harming behaviors. You can check out a snippet of that video here (http://www.thetraumatherapistproject.com/video/lisa-ferentz/). Lisa is an adjunct Faculty member at several Universities and is the Founder of The Ferentz Institute (https://www.theferentzinstitute.com/), now in its tenth year of providing continuing education to mental health
