I have recently become a huge fan and I am thinking about becoming certified in your program. My question is about my father. He had a severe reaction to the yellow fever vacc several years ago and it caused brain swelling that took doctors months to figure out. He then was put on high levels of steroids, which then lead to Diabetes. Knowing what I know now, I think he has parasites (from all of his crazy travel places), h-pylori, Candida, SIBO all while getting sick constantly and taking forever to get over it. He won’t change his diet but has recently made some changes in taking Omega 3’s, CQ10 and NAC (this is huge progress) What would be a low hanging fruit (other than diet) that I could make him a believer in functional medicine that could spark some changes in him moving forward.
