Philip Jones Jr. grew up in Los Angeles, CA in the middle of gang violence. In addition to dealing with the violence outside, he was dealing with an internal health crisis leading to his kidney transplant. His experiences were the inspiration for his podcast entitled “Second Chances”. Now he is about to undergo a heart transplant.
