Robin Blackwood lives in downtown Greenville with her husband and 14 year old son Sam. She runs her own PR consulting business but spends a lot of her free time advocating and supporting other families caring for a loved one with disabilities. Robin is very active in knowing and sharing resources with others because she understands the challenges of accessing services and supports through her personal journey of raising her son with an intellectual disability. Robin, who has lived in Greenville since 1997, volunteers with local and statewide organizations and spends a lot of time understanding public education options for students with disabilities. Today, she plans to share with us what she has learned with our audience of listeners.
