One such lesson was when he once came to visit me. He asked me, “Son, what are you doing these days?” I answered, “Well, I’m working hard and, thank G-d, family is growing. Things are doing so much better, and have improved a lot of things in the business.” He looked at me and asked me the same question again. “Now but what are you doing these days?” I was somewhat puzzled, and I gave the same answer. And one more time, he asked me again, “What are you doing these days?” I said, “But father, I just answered that question.” He said, “No. I’m not asking you what you’re doing about the money that you’re making.
