Omar Liles is a certified Dementia Practitioner with The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, Certified Montessori Dementia Professional with The International Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Omar is a graduate of New York Divinity School with a Master of Religion and a Doctorate in Ministry with an emphasis in Pastoral Leadership at Andersonville Theological Seminary and a substitute Adjunct Professor at New York Divinity School. He has worked in long-term care for twenty-two years in recreation and taught Alzheimer’s and Dementia to members of the community, provided workshops and seminars in small groups and churches. He is currently training with the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy for clinical chaplaincy and pastoral counseling certification and has been accepted for a second doctoral program from the graduate Institute of the College of Pastoral Care.
