Lisa Koons jokes that she got “hoodwinked” into her unique role. She compares her encounter to Paul on the road of Damascus, where she felt God communicate that He wanted to connect with His people and equip them to pray! After that her calling was undeniable - she started a prayer room in Charlotte. Then a friend gave her the book Red Moon Rising, and she could see that God had “hoodwinked” some people overseas to do the same thing.
