While the boys take a moment to prepare for the launch of the next series (and come up with a title!), here's a tasty compilation of some of the best bits of Cow In The Room. 

Dale gets a new motor, talks taxes for the rich and justice for the Beanfield, recognition for Palestine, Football on prescription and Octopus in the dock. With a sprinkling of Trump we also look at the Musk mini-me, stomping around councils up north.  And if that’s not enough we got listeners lining up to start the revolution.  While X-rated corner has less frivolous things on it’s mind.  Super fabulous final episode of the series.  And we still need a name……for the next series…

Listeners get us talking about generators at Wembley, ‘breaking the link’ but not the right one – and dressing for the summer.

Bring on the wealth tax, zonal pricing is toast, and Dale’s new moniker ‘Power Baron’.Trump and Musk bromance well and truly dead… Sadiq Khan’s low-traffic neighbourhoods keeping people alive … and energy use by AI slashed. Fighting the planners over flying Palestinian flag whilst the IDF keeps murdering. And listeners ask about Glasto politics and small windmills. In X-rated corner there’s gripes on tax paid, protesters and vegan food…

Fresh off a 2-hour interview with the FT, Dale stops in for a chat before he takes his big-arse-battery to Glasto. This week, Trump's got a potty mouth, Ecotricity's customer service is top of the pile, and apparently a bit of paint now counts as terrorism...

China's on fire this week, with an amazing solar energy break through and stunning electric car progress…While in Britain we're fusion dreaming and factory farmers' dreams - turn to shite.Our friends on X give us Net Zero talking - pub politics versus vegan bistros…fair play. Even though half a cup of cheap coffee a week pays for your Net Zero cost.And listeners ask the usual great questions. How much green will it take to bring prices down, how best to long haul electricity?And what is that bike?

Jam packed week this - Dale has the spending review blues, we talk Sizewell and the simple alternative we already have (it’s not green either) and the dynamite revelation about Hinkley. Big focus on homes, affordable or not, the rooftop revolution we need and the Swift brick gets explained.  Meanwhile economists put a number on the cost of Reform’s Nexit…western media go all estate agent in the Middle East and Dale meets Gordo.  On point Qs from our listeners rounded off with more X rated nonsense than you can shake a stick at.

Dale’s been busy in the media, this weeks right wing nut is the vigilante on the utube, we talk enemies of the state, Thatcher, and the Battle of the Beanfield - call for Drax to come clean or get no more cash - and ask is it the end for heat pumps…..Great questions from our listeners on green gas and stuff, while our X rated friends obsess about what Dale wears.  Jeez.  More green blather than you can shake a stick at.

In the news this week is Breaking the Link (again) this time in the Mirror - as Scotland considers Ecocide and Dale makes the case. Tesla sales dive as the market booms - Carma?  China sets another record - this time as an Electrostate. And competing offshore wind farmers fire up their models and their lawyers over wind theft - or is it queue jumping. A new report shines the light on Cameron’s hideous school dinner law - and we reflect on his relationship with that pig’s head. Our listeners chip in with some great questions and our X rated friends don't let us down.  Oh and the Right wing nut of the week is from Reform, but secretly one of us we think.

Dale goes to Europe by rail - pens an op ed on the Eurostar for the Telegraph - and the world changes radically.  Britain lands a trade deal with Europe, Farage says he’ll end it - Keminoch already said that - but would an AI version be a better leader - we think it might.  The RSPCA endorse fish brutality and then don’t, as another exposé empties supermarket shelves. Listener Qs and contributions on X round off another hoot..

Once again we bring news of the good deeds of the Donald.  Tony Blair nearly wins right-wing nut of the week for his crazy pro fossil intervention on behalf of his petro state clients, but he’s pipped by the Tories' energy man who probably believes the Earth is flat and definitely won’t get to do that which he says he will do. We talk Dale writing for the Telegraph on Gaza and the crazy things our Government says about trade - more important than law apparently….breaking the link rears its head again as the man they call ‘Red Ed’ might need more money for his 2030 target.  And if that’s not enough our listeners and X rated trolls have a bundle of good, bad and generally fun things to add.

This week we look at Trump’s good deeds, from Oz to Canada to China and we invite Richard Tice to come out of the closet.  We open with a libel update, a heat pump story and something called Nexit. And then there’s AI and Crypto - both energy guzzlers, but what does Crypto actually do.  Great listener questions and they’re at it again on X rated corner - gotta love em. 

In this week's show, an irrational ex Labour PM joins Farage - in nonsense on net zero. The Telegraph smeared Dale again, then apologised and then donated to Gaza - all in less than a week. In the saga the score stands at 8-0.  Dale finds an unlikely ally in Richard Tice, but only half so and Zero carbon homes are back on the agenda, starting with a new/old rule for new builds. Questions pour in from listeners, not least on ‘breaking the link’ and of course we have some X-rated rantings….. 

The need for more Nuclear cops, the MAGA diet that will surely work, more pointless tariffs and a madly big cheque - on one side as we take a dive into something you might call Nexit.  With the usual gaggle of listeners chipping in, not least about the last ice age.

Times Radio out does the Telegraph for a Daily Dale this week as we mix British Steel - energy and a nutty new right wing narrative - about Ed Milliband - with the new line from Nige and Semi, while our contributors in X rated corner make clear just how dangerous that is.  We’ve got a bit of a food focus too as our right wing nut award goes to a Big Farm funded propaganda campaign against science, pesticides are found in our houses (100s of them) and banned substances are in Scottish farmed salmon -  which is an actual crime.  Some great questions - like how many windmills can we get for the price of Sizewell C, the answer to that might surprise you.

Trump’s tariff assault on the World has unexpected consequences, of course, but this one takes the biscuit.  As factory farming comes under attack, for a reverse pandemic and the rise of superbugs - the public strikes back, we get an update on grass as food.  Ian has a fan but it’s not what it seems.  And a new direct action group start making Citizen’s arrests.  Great questions around electric planes and solar panels along with more laughs in the X-rated corner. Oh and the climate crisis will destroy capitalism - not according to an eco warrior…

Trump versus the weathermen - hedge funds to the rescue?  Tesla and the China Syndrome. California (not so) dreaming, sea water sucking,  woods and trees and net zero ducking.  The return of Cummings! and er what’s Bianca got to do with it….RickAAAY? 

Musk faces market Karma while Trump pumps Tesla, and a tiny tax that could change everything. Dale has a dress code issue with government security and Ian puts on his Reform hat to explain it all. This week's right wing nut Kemi B tells big porkies about net zero in the week a new report paints the clearest picture yet. Over the pond Greenpeace face wipeout in a crazy court decision, while back home Britain’s carbon emissions hit an incredible new record. For clarity in a crazy world don’t miss this.
