On friday the 13th of October (was it a symbolic date?) we played in Lyon at Le Sucre for the After work party "Après le travail". It was one of the first time that David Chouferbad also called "Choufy" played such a long set, as he is along with Fred Serendip, the selector of our new release and a long time disco vinyl collector, we found relevant to publish his set after the party. It reflects the eclecticism of Deviant Disco and David's taste for various genre and artists. Enjoy and share

First of all a singer multi-instrumentist, touring and recording mostly bass throughout Europe (Calypsodelia), Australia (The Babe Rainbow) or Asia (Marie Madeleine). Myriam Stamoulis started mixing a selection of 60s Rare Soul, Freakbeat and Psych Pop while going to alternative parties in Paris and while traveling abroad. She keenly gained a passion for forgotten gems on vinyl since. Her current interest is around groovy tunes from Afro Caribbean, Space Funk, World Disco - Garage, Hi-NRG, Mutant - to Synthpop besides other linked genres. Netherlands based, record label owner but also a Dj & event promoter Otto Kraanen is the founder of Bordello a Parigi- a label for dance music lovers which reflects his will to share his fondness for a certain kind of electronic music. With now a 100 references and a new record shop that just opened in Amsterdam, it was the right time to welcome De Dupe -his Dj moniker on our monthly radio show. He will also be our guest at the Garage-club in September 2017.

Head of Slow Motion record label, DJ Producer Franz Scala also known as Franz Underwear is originally Italian but has settled in Berlin since 2007. A great activist, he’s a resident at Magic Waves events. He’s released various tracks on Cocktail d’Amore & Bordello a Parigi. He started his own record label Italian dance wave, combining CD & vynils. With help of Dj friend Bruce Heller this set for Deviant Disco was recorded after the New Dance Fantasy winter label showcase.

A la fois chanteur et producteur de musique électronique, Yan Wagner est aussi le chantre d'une techno-pop à la française aux accents fortement teintés de wave music. Il est l'invité de ce radio show pour un DJ-set où il fait montre de son immense culture électro-wave, à danser mais aussi à écouter. Both a singer and a music producer, Yan Wagner is the apostle of our very french techno-pop scene, while being deeply rooted in -wave culture. Nicolas Prioux aka DJ FrançoiJack is also the head of Vielspass record label. Based in Rennes (Britanny), he has a strong taste for synthesized sounds, from dark wave to Italo disco and the likes. His mix is just like his record label- a blend of all the genres that he affectionates. Being an activist, Nico also organizes parties and Festival (Bargain-Ubu) and rules with friend Isaure an art Gallery called DMA where they organize performances, exhibitions and pop up store. It was a pleasure to have him as a guest for Deviant Disco.

An hour horny discoish mix by french singer and legendary figure of the Dance music scene Patrick Vidal, as he describes in his interview, Patrick likes to spin the music he can't compose-being a white fellow who enjoys black music and a rock singer who loves to dance, the result is here and extremely enjoyable. Une heure d'un mix aussi chaud qu'excitant par le chanteur de l'ex groupe légendaire Marie et les garçons, également une figure qu'on ne présente plus de la scène Disco-Patrick tel qu'il le décrit dans son interview est un chanteur blanc qui aime la musique black et qui aime à jouer la musique qu'il ne peut pas composer, le résultat est extrêmement agréable.
