We wanted to root for them because we knew how Black people tended to go unnoticed. Seemingly enough, those days are ending. We have fought for inclusion and spoken out on how important it is to have representation of Black folk on the big screen. This years nominations include a variety of Black folk, not just one or two people. So excuse me while I talk about the nominees briefly during this episode.
