It was the discovery of his purpose on March 21, 1988 – to help people reach their full potential – that transformed Jim Whitt’s life. The discovery of his purpose was the catalyst that launched his career as a writer, speaker, business consultant and film producer. Having personally experienced the transformational power of purpose, he developed a process to help others do the same. That process is the topic of a book, The Transformational Power of Purpose: Finding and Fulfilling Your Purpose in Life, and is available in an online course. In 2002 Craig DeMartino's life changed dramatically. He was accidentally dropped 100 feet while climbing in Colorado. That's the same height as a 10 story office building. Craig endured a three-month stay in the hospital and later a rehab facility where he began to rebuild his life and body. After 18 months, Craig decided to amputate his leg below the knee to return to climbing and the quality of life he once enjoyed. Now, with 30 years of climbing experience under his belt, he has a new and exciting view of the world. Jen Elizabeth Preisendanz, 42, grew up in a home of abuse and addiction. Her parents joined a cult when she was three years old and there Jen was sexually abused until she was nine years old. The years of abuse Jen endured lured her into a destructive path that led from alcoholism to IV drug use. Throughout this dark period Jen spent 13 years in and out of homelessness, living in cars and motel rooms, using and chasing drugs and alcohol to numb the pain. She was arrested many times for drug possession, being under the influence, receiving stolen property and violations of probation. In 2010, she was in her state prison cell halfway through her sentence, when she had an epiphany and decided that she was worth more than just existing or getting by the way she was. This was the moment she decided to turn her life around.
