06/11/2022 Duración: 40min“God Our Help” Genesis 21:22-34 November 6, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 21:22 At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do. [23] Now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my descendants or with my posterity, but as I have dealt kindly with you, so you will deal with me and with the land where you have sojourned.” [24] And Abraham said, “I will swear.” [25] When Abraham reproved Abimelech about a well of water that Abimelech’s servants had seized, [26] Abimelech said, “I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today.” [27] So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant. [28] Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock apart. [29] And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?” [30] He said, “These seven ewe lamb

23/10/2022 Duración: 39min“Our Faithful Promise-Keeping God” Genesis 21:1-21 October 23, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 21:1 The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had promised. [2] And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. [3] Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac. [4] And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. [5] Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. [6] And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” [7] And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.” [8] And the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. [9] But Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, laughing. [10] So she said to Abra

Sermon: On His Oath We Depend
16/10/2022 Duración: 40min“On His Oath We Depend” Genesis 20-21 October 16, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 20:1 From there Abraham journeyed toward the territory of the Negeb and lived between Kadesh and Shur; and he sojourned in Gerar. [2] And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. [3] But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, “Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.” [4] Now Abimelech had not approached her. So he said, “Lord, will you kill an innocent people? [5] Did he not himself say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this.” [6] Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her. [7] Now then, return the man’s

Sermon: The Cost of Compromise With the World
09/10/2022 Duración: 41minThe Cost of Compromise With the World Genesis 19 October 9, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 19:15 As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city.” [16] But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. [17] And as they brought them out, one said, “Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away.” [18] And Lot said to them, “Oh, no, my lords. [19] Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die. [20] Behold, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one. Let me escape there—is it not a little one?—and my life will be saved!” [21

Sermon: The Righteous Judgment of God
02/10/2022 Duración: 43minThe Righteous Judgment of God Genesis 19:1-29 October 2, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich----more---- Genesis 19:12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place. [13] For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.” [14] So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, “Up! Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting. [15] As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city.” [16] But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. Prayer for Redeemer, the nation, and the lost
25/09/2022 Duración: 10minTo close out his sermon on 9.25.22, Pastor Tony Felich, prayed this petition to the Lord. ----more---- Heavenly Father, while less profoundly, no doubt…as we finish studying this passage, I would like to lead us in undertaking to approach to you, O Lord, knowing that we are dust and ashes. We come to you by way of your covenant of grace fulfilled through Christ’s blood on our behalf. We come as your sons and daughters through the adoption granted through Christ. Like Abraham, we come as your friends through Jesus’ blood. We draw near to you now in order to make an appeal on behalf of the lost, who at this point, if Christ should return, if you would send some calamity, or they would die of natural causes, would be separated from you and your love for eternity and this terrifies us for them. We confess that you would be justified in your judgment of the ungodly. We could offer no argument against your justice. We would not complain against your fairness. You are God and we are but dust. But nevertheless, like

Sermon: Godly Intercession
25/09/2022 Duración: 45min“Godly Intercession” Genesis 18:22-33 September 25, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 18:20 Then the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, [21] I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know.” [22] So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the LORD. [23] Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? [24] Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? [25] Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” [26] And the LORD said, “If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place f

Sermon: A God-Ordained Life Mission
18/09/2022 Duración: 37min“A God-Ordained Life Mission” Genesis 18:16-21 September 18, 2022 Pastor Tony Felich Sermon Application [file] ----more---- Genesis 18:16 Then the men set out from there, and they looked down toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to set them on their way. [17] The LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, [18] seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? [19] For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.” [20] Then the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, [21] I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know.” There are magnificent privileges that come from God’s grace as well as important responsibilities.

Sermon: Partiality in the Church
11/09/2022 Duración: 32min“Partiality in the Church” James 2:1-7 September 11, 2022 Pastor Nathan Currey Sermon Application [file] ----more---- James 2:1 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. [2] For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, [3] and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” [4] have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? [5] Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? [6] But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? [7] Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were call
