What makes someone an expert or Master at a skill?
03/01/2023 Duración: 02minWhat makes someone an expert or Master at a skill? In my opinion the only way you can become an expert at a skill is by teaching it. Can you truly consider yourself a master/expert if you are incapable of teaching a class or imparting your knowledge onto someone else? I have come to the conclusion that your skill level and the ability to teach are two different things. It is possible to be really good at something but incapable of effectively teaching someone your skill. In fact I would argue that if you never have taught said skill, you do not truly have a deep understanding and knowledge of the underlying fundamentals. Example: We have Two Salsa Instructors, Both have been taught by the same Master Level Instructor. After 10 years. Dancer A goes on to become a Full time professional Salsa Performer. Dancer B goes on to open a dance school and become a full time instructor. Now we can make the argument that Yes, Dancer A is going to be a more proficient Performance Dancer. But If I were to ask you who
