Happening this weekend an open house event is being held in advance of public hearings and a review by the Board of Supervisors. If approved, the indoor skiing facility would host a 1,700 foot indoor ski slope, the longest in North America. Farmer's Almanac predicts a “flip-flop” winter for the DC area, meaning it will be mild then a snow storm then mild again.
