In Acts 8:26-40 we see Phillip the Evangelist having a roadside conversation with an Ethiopian eunuch that leads to the man's conversion. There's much for us to learn from Phillip's approach to making the message known.

Acts 8:1-25 tells about the Gospel spreading from Jerusalem to Samaria, just as Christ had foretold in Acts 1:8. Find out how this important passage applies to us.

God's Word tells us, "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us" When we rely on our power instead of God’s we will be living under self-imposed limitations. Instead of living small and limited lives, let's be people that live according God's Word.

Jesus Changes Everything! Not religion, but the real thing! Set against the backdrop of the religious leaders hurling accusations at Stephen, in Acts 6, we get a glimpse of of the truth that Christ is the fulfillment of God's promises.

We live in a world and society that is generally opposed to Christ. Some of the opposition is subtle…and some of the opposition is very bold and direct. It can be intimidating to stand up for Christ…but yet we’ve been given a mission to make Jesus known. In Acts 5:12-42 we what this looked like for the early church…primarily the Apostles.

In Acts 4:32-5:11 we see the Holy Spirit working in a very powerful way in the church. Amazing ministry is happening as well as great mystery, as Ananias & Sapphira suddenly die. What happened in the early church has great application for us today.

Acts 4:1-31 By looking at how the Apostles responded to opposition, we see 3 things we need to remember when sharing the message of Christ.

What does it take to change your mind about a person? Once you’ve made up your mind about someone, it’s usually pretty tough for us to change our opinion about them. Today we’re going to see how a group of Jews that had been hostile to Jesus, end up having a change of heart….after they learn the Truth About Jesus!!

Does our church look like the early church? Are we on track when it comes to church life? Acts 2:42-47 explains the practices of the early church and God's blessing on it. Our practices may not be exactly the same, but there are 4 characteristics of the early church that we can use to evaluate ourselves.

One of the most important things we can do in life is to be clear on who Jesus is. Once we're clear and convinced about the truth of Jesus' identity...all of life begins to become more clear. Find out out how a group came to know the truth about Jesus.

How could this small group of ragtag disciples possible bring the message of Christ to the entire world? Acts 2 gives us the answer, while reminding us that God always empowers and equips us to accomplish the things He expects us to do!

The good news is…Christ is coming back to straighten this mess out! But till then He’s left us, His church, to share the hope of Christ with the world.
