The specific time period between midnight and 6am is commonly called the nightwatch.God is raising up day & night prayer across the earth, with an estimated 20,000 groups organized to pray 24/7. This requires that many people pray and worship in the middle of the night. Matthew explains how he believes God is calling even more people to engage with God during the nightwatch.The Bible gives multiple examples of those who worshiped & prayer through the night, including Jesus himself. In the second podcast episode, Matthew Lilley continues in Psalm 132 and asks the question... What does it look like for God’s glory [manifest presence] to rest upon a region? King David’s vision was not primarily about his personal breakthrough. He was longing for something to impact his city and nation. He was longing for corporate breakthrough and revival. He wanted the entire nation to experience what he had personally experienced through his personal relationship with God.This vision caused David to to make a radical vow before God to avoid sleep until God's presence rested in his city. David was saying that he would do anything that he could to see God’s presence among His people.
