On this episode, we are talking to Charessa Sawyer.  Charessa Sawyer is the Founder and CEO of Charge Up Campaign, an Atlanta-based 501(c)3 that celebrates Cancer survivors, caregivers, support organizations and Oncology medical professionals. The organization was created as a testament to Charessa and her experience of being a caregiver for her mother, a breast cancer survivor. Charessa says through this experience, she realized the importance of celebrating the survivor and not the patient in order to provide a more positive prognosis. Charge Up Campaign has ongoing programs and initiatives such as: Charge Up Cares, Charge Up Self Care Kits, Survivors Conference and the Pink Champagne Gala.

This fuels my drive to teach artists to claim their art, copyright and protect their music. As time goes on I plan on expanding the roster of Gills Way and educating more artists on securing their legacy.
