We welcome on Kevin Kelton, former writer on Saturday Night Live during the 80's Eddie Murphy days, was one of six writers on Jay Leno's 1986 TV Special, wrote and produced on Night Court, Boy Meets World and many other shows. He sheds light on the writing process for a show like SNL and the transition from writing to producing that came with his switch from sketch comedy to sitcoms. We also talk about stand-up comedy and its evolution from the 80's, 90's to now, as well as the direction it's heading in. He shares stories with some comedy icons he's worked with and befriended over the years such as Larry David, Micheal Richards, Eddie Murphy and Jay Leno.
