It was a dark and stormy night upon which two distant spirits spoke of many a terror witnessed in films throughout the ages, and which of these films did inspire their deepest feelings of dread, disgust, and horror. As true as it was of the next day to be All Hallow's Eve, so it was that the third spooky special had arrived indeed.

We're back, and we've got a lot to talk about. On this first hour-long entry, we review Todd Phillips's Joker film, the season premiere episodes of Batwoman, and of course the inevitable controversies that have cropped up about both. We also get very excited for the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.

It's our 50th episode, and not all of us will make to the end this time. We give our Rambo Last Blood and Swamp Thing trailer reactions, plus a lengthy speculation as to what direction the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take moving forward.

This week we get chronologically confused as we react to the new trailers for Terminator Dark Fate and Star Trek Picard, the season 4 finale of Legends of Tomorrow, and a possible crucial plot point revealed by EW for Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker.
