I met Michael this fall at the RV Entrepreneur roundtable - he and his partner Andrea came out after being full-time on the road for only one month to boondock with us at The Campers Hub in Montrose Colorado. After participating in the roundtable and making what seem to be some stellar long term connections and friendships, Michael was motivated to create an online space where travelers could stay informed about local events and gatherings wherever in the country they were  - and that’s how traveling gatherings was born!    After 20+ years in corporate event planning, Michael Andersen decided it was time to say goodbye to office life and hello to full-time travel. He and his partner, Andrea, along with their fur baby Bruce Lee the Pug, sold all of their belongings, quit their director level careers, moved out of their Asheville, NC apartment, to live and travel in a renovated Class A, named Dolly.
